NiCr 80 20 Nb

NiCr 80/20 Nb is an austenitic nickel-chromium alloy (NiCr alloy) additionally doped by Niobium. High operational temperature – 1200°C, excellent plasticity at room and mechanical stability at elevated temperatures makes this materials essential for chemical and corrosion resistance applications. NiCr 80/20 Nb is also known as NiCr 80/20 Cb. Niobium formerly known as Columbium used as alloying additive in big pool of superalloys usually to improve physical or mechanical properties of alloy at elevated temperatures.

Application

Consideration of alloy shall always be given when selecting of materials for metal belts, in such a manner NiCr 80/20 Nb is a good solution for parts used in chemical industries, because of its strength at wide range of temperatures:

  • Industrial furnaces up to 1200 °C
  • Wire meshes and conveyer belts systems
  • Heat treatment parts
